Mensucat A.Ş. was founded in 1960 by Mümtaz Özbilen and his sons as Turkey’s first company to manufacture nylon fishing nets.
Since 1962, our company has been manufacturing high-strength nets for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. By combining our expertise, gained over more than half a century, with modern technology and an innovative vision focused on the needs of future generations, we created the Shield Safety Nets brand.
Under the Shield Safety Nets brand, we offer advanced netting solutions for various industries and applications. Our extensive product range includes construction safety nets, drone nets, perimeter fencing, cargo and transport nets, sports nets, agricultural nets, bird control nets, laundry nets, swimming pool safety nets, as well as diving equipment, defense, and impact-absorbing nets. All of our products are manufactured and tested to meet their intended uses and comply with relevant international standards. Our nets are certified in accordance with the TS EN 1263-1 and TS EN 13501-1 standards and are manufactured at our ISO 9001:2015-certified production facility using top-quality raw materials and state-of-the-art production equipment.
